Lectures on Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī's Sri Vilapa-Kusumanjali

Śrīla Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī’s writings are all about mañjarī bhāva sādhana. Why do we read his transcendental poetry and the commentaries of the ācāryas? We read it because we want to get the bhāva in their hearts, the mood of being a maidservant of Śrīmatī Rādhikā.
Reading Śrī Vilāpa-Kusumāñjali is essential for our bhajana. We don’t read it to collect information about aṣṭa-kālīya-līlā. We read it to cultivate the mood we are aspiring for, mañjarī bhāva. It helps us to give up our material self-identity and realize our eternal spiritual identity of being mañjarī maidservants of Śrīmatī Rādhikā.
