At those festivals the devotees saw Prabhupada daily for almost a month, whereas most devotees normally did not see him for a whole year. Devotees aspired for these opportunities to stay at the same temple with Prabhupada and sometimes in the same building, and they testified to his sweet nature in Mayapur and Vrindavana.
This book shows how the festivals grew, how Prabhupada developed them from scratch in the pioneering days, carefully nurturing them into glorious events. Remembering our experiences with Prabhupada at the festivals and recalling his thoughts, deeds, and instructions during the festival days will help us keep the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Founder-acarya, Srila Prabhupada in its center.
